His music is very uncommon for someone who likes breakcore. It's melodic, lucid, artistic and very expressive. The album "Brame" was produced by Igorrr, the person he worked with on EP "Maigre", combining both their styles into a one big juicy album, which is always pleasing to listen to. "Brame" offers 12 tracks of different themes and sounds to map or just listen to. Ruby My Dear is overall a nice addition to current breakcore FA scene.

"Brame" bandcamp: https://rubymydear.bandcamp.com/album/brame
"Maigre" youtube (bandcamp link doesn't exist anymore): https://youtu.be/psVN9s7CBLQ
RMD soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/dearmyruby

it's happening to everybody

Mirash

Nomination Assessment Team

707 posts

ed June 2013

Mirash

2019-12-25T16:33:47+00:00

dead poet society https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSIDln9BMrcXa6Pmeu7NDew
https://deadpoetsocietyofficial.bandcamp.com

is this possible? they not seem to be so big, yet they make real bangers
also yeah most of their songs have fucked up timing but i'd be glad to see them on osu anyway, can even help with timings if needed

Last edited by Mirash 2019-12-25T16:35:25+00:00, edited 1 time in total.

Kazuya

894 posts

ed May 2013

Kazuya

2019-12-26T15:01:19+00:00

Scooter!

https://scootertechno.com/

True, they are not so unique these days, because they are tailored to the market, but their old Scooter songs would bring uniqueness to the osu!

Some old songs:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wquCCFvbNhI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMI1-pdm81A
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YxTa1AUqps

Last edited by Kazuya 2019-12-26T15:06:12+00:00, edited 2 times in total.

MikasaSerket

520 posts

ed December 2014

MikasaSerket

2020-01-02T18:36:19+00:00

Ken Ashcorp

"Silly songs about Video Games, Cartoons and generally absurd stuff that can't hack it in a mainstream environment!"

He has a huge variety of styles and genres in his music and are usually related to weeb or nerdy stuff ranging from electro to some...kinda electro rock fusion to ballads etc. His unique blend of genres + variety within his music would allow for many fun opportunities for mappers to experiment with his cool stuff plus my mans has some bangers

Despite releasing music once in a while he still seems to be pretty active on his social media

Bandcamp
Youtube Channel
iTunes

Reccomendations
My personal favorites from him include:
Black Lily, soft-rockish song that has opportunity for fun rhythms
Hunter, anime inspired rock song
Paralyzed, a very funky electro song that hnghhhghghgh so good

Last edited by MikasaSerket 2020-01-02T18:38:12+00:00, edited 2 times in total.

Gens

osu!
