Here you may post artists you feel could be a good fit for the osu! featured artist lineup. The staff in charge of licensing artists will check here occasionally and look into artists suggested.

Please be sure to mention why they'd be a good fit if you have good reasons! It is also helpful to supply a link where it's easy to access a lot of the artist's work, such as a website, bandcamp page, or album crossfade.
posting these as track updates from FB/associated aliases on behalf of Walter

For Benn Jordan (The Flashbulb), recommendations for a future batch of songs could be:

- Stinger (Drain Mode On EP)
- Please Don't (Flexing Habitual)
- Dishevel and Autumn Insomnia Session (Kirlian Selections)
- That Missing Week and Our Furry Past Life (That Missing Week)
- Warm Hands In Cold Fog (Soundtrack To A Vacant Life)
- Wake Up, Gladiator (Love Is A Dark Hallway)
- Ripcord (Old Trees (1999 - 2011))
- I Love (Orange Things) (Programable Love Songs Vol. 1, as Flexe)
- Ah Shwe Bah (I'll Care If You Do + Get Mad Now, as Dr. Lefty)

I believe that the works of all the artists I mentioned above are in line with the array of currently ranked beatmaps, which is quite dominated by Japanese (mostly females?) vocals. Most of them do have at least some electronic influences, which is what the current FA catalog is favoring at the moment, but perhaps the vocals will be able to balance them out, providing a certain amount of variety that also resonates with what's popular in the ranked maps section, making them more likely to be mapped.
1. Sushi Killer
https://soundcloud.com/sushi_killer
https://twitter.com/_SushiKiller_

amazing and quite underrated (in my opinion) future bass artist i've listened to few years ago. my personal favorite: https://soundcloud.com/sushi_killer/s-p-a-c-e-s-h-i-p-c-o-u-p-e

2. Iglooghost
https://soundcloud.com/iglooghost
https://twitter.com/iglooghost

critically acclaimed artist who has a childish, playful style to his beautifully complex arranged music, which would be a perfect fit for osu!. my personal favorite: https://soundcloud.com/brainfeeder/iglooghost-white-gum and the infamous Lil Pump remix https://soundcloud.com/tastenuffing/lil-pump-mollyiglooghost-remix2017.

i would put more artists but i currently don't have any on top of my head that would fit for osu!. would love these two if they were FA though <3
1. Lhou : https://soundcloud.com/lhoustudio

9. android52 : https://soundcloud.com/android52

I do think most of these artists make music with rhythm game in mind. They're also pretty well known in other rhythm games as well as osu! itself

  1. RSK
    1. Twitter: https://twitter.com/wa933
    2. Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/rsk-729566255

Seems to be rather an unknown artist but makes some really cool and catchy chiptune songs. Many of them are already able on Soundcloud for free, but i would love to see this one as a Featured Artist in the future because i think the music would fit great into a rhythm game.

    2. Bandcamp: https://tomatoism.bandcamp.com/
    3. Mixcloud: https://www.mixcloud.com/tomatoism/
    4. Twitter: https://twitter.com/tomatoism

Another pretty cool artist would be tomatoism. DnB and Wubs all the way just in cute. Could be especially interesting for future osu!mania beatmaps. But ofc other game modes too xP
Hard to explain. Needs a listen to understand it! :3
1. KNOWER
https://knowermusic.bandcamp.com/
https://twitter.com/KNOWER_music
https://soundcloud.com/KNOWERmusic

Would be cool to see some tech mappers create something from these songs. Also some of them are nice.

2. ExileLord
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfNRZxjhslYzbbsM-0ha4BA

I personally call him the "Legend" in Guitar Hero/Clone Hero community because he's know for his Soulless series but he have other projects besides Soulless memes.

3. Reol
https://www.reol.jp/
https://twitter.com/RRReol
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCB6pJFaFByws3dQj4AdLdyA

Don't really need to explain too much about Reol. This band rocks!

Keep in mind that it's my own personal list but it would be really good if they would become a Featured Artists one day.

https://frums.bandcamp.com/
https://www.youtube.com/c/frumsdotxyz

2. Iris

A pretty all-round kind of artist that makes EDM-ish and techno-like songs.

LapFox Trax / Halley Labs:
Offers a lot of different genres and styles of music, going from various -core music over Experimental and Electro House, to Gabber, Chiptune, Hip Hop and DnB. Plenty songs of their label have been mapped already and still are well loved by people and while it may not work so easily with certain songs using specific sound samples they still offer many original tracks from all these genres.

An interesting Amsterdam-based label that seems to focus on the more contemporary/"progressive"/"future" sub-genres of electronic music. This kind of electronic music is quite distinct from the current FA catalog, so I believe the songs will be a fine addition that doesn't majorly overlap with the current electronic offerings in the library.

My personal favorite track is "Love Is True", which can be found here.

A majority (or all of them?) of the tracks are also available for free s, under this Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0).
AAAA Hisui Chazuke a.k.a. "A-Hi-Cha" / ああ…翡翠茶漬け… (https://twitter.com/a_hi_cha, https://aiueoeiua.wixsite.com/a-hi-cha, https://ahicha.bandcamp.com)

In my words, we don't have enough cutesy artists to balance out the Featured Artists lineup. Just look at each of them! AAAA is a meticulous musician when it comes to his music, Umeboshi Chazuke with all that chiptune, and Hino Isuka with the Future, Hi-Tech, and Happy Hardcore; along with some Muuta Murata on the side, this group will awe you. I've seen their recent G2R2018 entries ("rainbow", "Stray Toy's Adventure", and "#be_fortunate") as well as their previous and recent work on both the BMS front and on their Soundcloud s. I must say, some of the best work the group put up had to be "Maginal Frontier (マージナル*フロンティア)", "Hoshi No Kakeru Adventure (☆をかけるアドベンチャー)", "Panic! Pop'n! Picnic!", "Dreamer" (which is based on a BMS arrange of "His Theme" from Undertale), and "Wakare no Namida wa Mata Au Hi made (別れの涙はまた逢う日まで)"! WE HAD to get them into the lineup; they are too cute to up!
greyl/EISEI
Though this artist may not be well known in the community, I think they'd be a pretty fantastic addition to the lineup due to the type of music they create. They're known for creating groovy future funk/garage/jersey songs that blend in other mediums such as anime and k-pop. The complex rhythms they utilize in their higher intensity songs would be fun to map imo.

Deafheaven

although unknown to the osu! community (0 beatmaps of it), this blackgaze/post-metal band is beloved by so many first-time listeners to heavy fans of metal (citation needed). just listen for yourself :)

AxNae
1. xi
An artist whose songs have been mapped several times by multiple people, in many rhythm games, creating some of the most wonderful songs in the artcore genre. With the iconic songs FREEDOM DiVE and Ascension to Heaven and many other amazing ones, this is an artist loved by the osu community and it goes without saying, would be a perfect choice for a featured artist.

2. R3 Music Box
One of the most controversial artists in the osu community at the moment, R3 Music Box creates thousands of covers of different songs using MIDI conversion. Apart from the fact that R3 songs play a big role in the mapping scene, this "artist's" songs create the opportunity for the use of the technique known as "keysounding", which, when correctly done, is amazing to play, and their songs also low BPM music fit for begginers, which is something the featured artist listing is currently missing.
R3 Music Box YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrnX-RrSu3jK-auhcDGpvAw

3. Inferi
Some of the hardest maps in osu! have been created using this band's music. Many of their tracks have high BPM's, making them a good fit for high level osu! maps.
Inferi bandcamp: https://inferi.bandcamp.com/
Morgan David King (MDK)
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4AFmCAFHwoV2o3QR1Wgup4
Discography: https://morgandavidking.com/music/

His music style is incredible and he makes some of the coolest electronic tracks out there!
#1 Mameyudoufu
https://soundcloud.com/mameyudoufu
https://mameyudoufu.bandcamp.com/

The main reasons for this artist is down to the fact that there's a vast amount of songs from different genre's as well as some very unique fast paced songs which could be great for all modes. Being a fan of music producing I can safely say that this experience of music goes to a whole new level. Suggest starting off with this song first as it's a perfect fit for osu! imo https://soundcloud.com/mameyudoufu/mameyu-lightning-attack

#2 Meganeko
https://soundcloud.com/meganeko

Meganeko I see as being very much like either Nanobii or Hyper Potions with it's high pitch chiptune songs. I find that a lot of these are in osu!'s interest from existing featured artists. There're also different styles too though. I believe the most popular of his songs is "Milkshake" https://soundcloud.com/meganeko/2-milkshake
A little bit digging I can suggest one artist which perfectly fits to not only for Russian genre but for DnB as well:

Neuromonakh Feofan (Нейромонах Феофан) - he's been always quite popular because of our stereotypes but what he and other staff makes is really good and I would like to see this artist on osu! It has been previously ranked for tracks such as Tak i znay. I think all mappers with different skills and knowledge can map almost all of his tracks. A perfect fit into osu! library.

https://neurofeofan.ru/frontend/web/index.php
https://soundcloud.com/neurofeofan
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL2GgDoULNwiKaZ5eYw-3cg
i'm surprised no one have suggested this guy yet
cosMo@BousouP / storyteller - very popular artist in the past, but with vocaloid becoming less popular he became less popular too. He has wide range of songs - mainly vocaloid, but also several instrumental works, piano arrangements and human covers by himself of vocaloid songs. Many of them are very fast and even have more than 240 consistent BPM (which we haven't seen in FA yet). His music is great for rhythm games, which is proven by fact that over 40 of his songs are featured in Bemani games, such as SDVX or Reflec Beat.

SAMString would be a great addition to the Featured Artist roster, honestly!
He is an osu!player who is also a composer, and one of his songs (see Sakura's Fall) has been ranked already.

He focuses on a sort of varied style with DnB, Piano, and more bass heavy tracks, all of which are very nice mapping options for taiko and standard, atleast.

Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/samstring (One of his still private, but awesome tracks here!)
Youtube: here!

Also if it means anything: From talking to him ingame he seems to be interested in licensing his music already
Feryquitous (AKA An or AcuticNotes, not sure are they the same person) has been popular among many technical maps, his complexity on rhythm in his artcore songs makes Feryquitous' style can be easily recognizable

As Feryquitous:
https://soundcloud.com/feryquitous
https://twitter.com/feryquitous_?lang=en

As An:
http://acutic.net/
https://twitter.com/acuticnotes__jp?lang=en

Shimotsuki Haruka (Haruka Shimotsuki) can be easily comes to mind when it comes to exotic, fantasy songs, she had made appearance on many big hit games such as Atelier Firis, Granblue Fantasy and many eroges

https://shimotsukin.com/

RAISE A SUILEN probably that hardest artist to find, they're pretty great when it comes to combining electric dubstep and heavy rock IT WOULD BE BETTER IF OSU HAVE COLLABED WITH BANG DREAM BUT WHO KNOWS

https://bushiroad-music.com/artists/raise-a-suilen
Kurokotei

- osu! profile https://osu-ppy-sh.zoneani.me/s/398275
- souncloud https://soundcloud.com/dialgadu77
- bandcamp https://kurokotei.bandcamp.com

being known in the community from his songs Galaxy Collapse and Scattered Faith, he's amazing artist talents and player standing from 2010
TamolarM
Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/junglarm
Twitter - https://twitter.com/calcharat (previously @namocharat)
Personal site - https://tamolarm.jimdofree.com/

TamolarM is a pretty underground Hardcore composer (along with some other music genres), mostly known for his J-Core bootleg remixes of anime/eroge songs. Despite this, he has a lot of original compositions on his Soundcloud.

His songs cater nicely to both osu!std and especially to osu!taiko mapping for their multitude of active sounds to follow at all times, which can make for very interesting maps.

Also, he seems to have some interest in osu!, as he retweets maps of his songs that get posted to Twitter and talks about them.
TSUGIHAGI RECORDS (Stellabee)

- Bandcamp - https://tsugihagirecords.bandcamp.com/
- Twitter - https://twitter.com/TSUGIHAGl or https://twitter.com/eberates
- Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/stella_hiragana

Tsugihagi is a label by Stellabee (he's the only producer) that makes music that's very reminiscent of some of the best and biggest artists in electronic such as t+pazolite (hence the name Tsugihagi), Kobaryo and Renard. Stellabee's own spin on their styles mixed with his own is really impressive, and with a big catalogue of unique, abrasive and mostly fun music, there's a lot here for everyone to enjoy, especially the new Buster Nalmi album, which is fun album very similar to something you'd hear by The Quick Brown Fox or Kobaryo, lots of potential for insane maps with lots of room for creativity.

Katagiri

- Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/katagiri
- Twitter - https://twitter.com/KATAGlRI

Multi-talented and fresh producer from Japan, Katagiri has been making the rounds heavily in the Taiko scene, emerging as a hugely popular and influential artist on their pool of mappers. Producing mostly "mashcore" which is not something that can be really adapted for osu! as there is lots of copyright issues there, he has produced other original tracks and been featured in games like SDVX for winning contests with his touhou remix. Highly anticipated in the taiko community at the very least to ever be part of osu!, in any capacity.

Round Wave Crusher

- Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/roundwavecrusher
- Twitter - https://twitter.com/shingodj?lang=en
- Bandcamp - https://roundwavecrusher.bandcamp.com/

Legendary Hardcore producer from Argentina, a hugely recognizable name in the osu! community now for songs like Slash Dot Slash, he has a huge catalogue of varied, interesting music that is very well suited for rhythm games. He has expressed many times that he is ok with people using his music in rhythm games, and I have no doubt that he'd definitely be up for licensing some of his original music, as he is known mostly for his older remixes but his newer albums have a lot of original material that are very entertaining and catchy in their own right.

Tarolin

- Twitter - https://twitter.com/method_gorgon
- Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/tarolin

Tarolin is an underground Japanese breakcore artist, who just recently put out an album of original material that is actually really enjoyable, along with a long list of single songs and such, his catalogue has grown exponentially over 2019, and I think a lot of people will be familiar with this artist in osu! from the song Anoko No Jinta, at least in taiko. Tarolin's style lends very well to mania and taiko especially, with the intricate drum patterns, mixed with heavy melodic style, tarolin is definitely a great choice.

big agree here. SPECIALLY STELLABEE
P4koo

Twitter : https://mobile.twitter.com/p4koochan
Soundcloud : https://m.soundcloud.com/p4koo2

P4koo is an artist who participated in several rhythm games such as EZ2AC, BMS, Dynamix. I believe the music style fits nice with osu mappings, and he also produced songs exclusively for osu! Korean mapping contest which can be seen in the following list. I think he will be a good addition to the featured artists.

Kikuo

Bandcamp: https://kikuo.bandcamp.com/
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com//kikkudas

Kikuo's music is very... interesting, and I think while certainly not all of his music is great for rhythm games, a decent amount of it could make for very unique maps.
Yunomi

https://soundcloud.com/tkrism
https://iamyunomi.bandcamp.com/
https://twitter.com/iamyunomi?lang=en

Already having many ranked maps and being among (what I think as) the most loved artists in osu!, Yunomi and their collaborators would be a good addition to the featured artists. They make often cute and poppy future-bass in middle range bpm. Right now, Yunomi seems to be popular only for a few songs, with not many people looking into their other stuff, which is a shame.

Some other similar artists I would like to see are YUC'e, KOTONOHOUSE, and Tomatiosm.

Mostly his music genre is retro, chiptune and piano. He also participated in Cytus & Cytus II, Deemo, VOEZ, and Wonder Parade (also, MUSE DASH too). He also made video games soundtrack (OST) for game called "TAYAL".
DJKurara

Coming in as one of the frontliners for Japanese hardcore underground music, DJKurara offers a plethora of music under electronic -core genres (Speedcore, Breakcore, Frenchcore, etc.). His works open the way for intense and aggressive mapping for just about any mode this could be ed by the fair amount of charts currently ed to osu!

He is also a very feasible artist to go for as he has expressed some interest in having one of his tracks mapped for Osu! and other games as shown here (old post)

Back to 2014, i have so good times with a plenty of maps with his songs on Geometry Dash.
The songs are fun, sometimes bright, sometimes dark; and i think all could be mapped as jumpy maps or complex slider patterns.
It would be great to have Nekrogoblikon featured. While in general their music can be classified as metal, the band has been truly unpredictable with their releases, changing their style from album to album in the most bizarre and fantastic ways. What's more, as a long-time fan, I can assure you that their songs offer interesting rhythms with lots of mapping potential. The only drawback seems to be that some of their songs can be a little on the lyrically brutal side, especially in the second album, Stench.

- litmus* / Ester
He is a great artist which mostly makes electronic songs and BMS charts. He is currently very active as he is featured artist on many music games like VOEZ, Dynamix etc. His electronic songs are catchy and would be really fun to map like Tokamak etc., he also made some artcore songs like Dizzolve as his alias Ester.

- Lunatic Sounds / Cosmograph
A great artist who makes different kind of songs, electronic, artcore, dnb. He also makes BMS charts and he is featured artist on many music games like VOEZ, EZ2AC. He already has some ranked songs on osu! such as CassiopeiA
The song that made him really popular may be Dataerr0r or Dropdown, he got the highest impr. score, ahead some popular artists like xi, street, feryquitous etc.

- Widowmaker (it may be an alias)
A great artist who deserves more attention, who mix wubs and instrument like M2U songs like Widow's kiss. He also made BMS charts. He may be an alias of another artist.

- Kenshiro "WHITEFISTS"
An awesome guitarist and composer which makes Art Rock songs, he made a BMS chart once with his incredible song VECTOЯ. His style is really something interesting and unique maybe, it would bring a lot of diversity on osu. He clearly deserves more attention.

i may add more later...

Really well known artist due to his chaotic music style, mostly every osu player/mapper knows & loves his music, appearing in various games like CHUNITHM, SDVX, etc... it would be an amazing addition to the osu! featured artist team!

Nanahoshi Kangengakudan

also known as FujuniseikouyuuP / HujuniseikouyuuP, this artist has historically been incredibly popular on osu! with numerous iconic maps such as Talent Shredder, Rubik's Cube, With a Dance Number, Meikaruza, anoko dokonoko, and more. With over 15 ranked maps, more in loved, and numerous maps having 100s of thousands or even millions of plays, he certainly is a perfect fit for featured artist! I'm surprised he hasn't been suggested already with how many iconic maps are of his works.
It's probably because people don't realize it's the same composer since so many maps put Hatsune Miku as the artist

有機酸/ewe aka uki3/ewe aka Kamiyama Yoh

A rising star, uki3/ewe aka Kamiyama Yoh makes very unique and often rhythmically interesting music, 2 songs of which are ranked on osu!. He was a vocaloid producer under the uki3/ewe alias with works such as quiet room, but has also self-covered most of those songs. He now works as Kamiyama Yoh, releasing hits such as YELLOW.

A producer which makes mainly rock music at high energy. He presently simultaneous releases vocaloid versions on nicovideo, and his sung versions on YouTube. This producer also has a collab circle called Doctrine Doctrine with Miyashita Yuu, a popular utaite, where they released an album of Miyashita Yuu singing seeeeecun's songs. While they do not appear in ranked maps on osu! yet, I believe they have potential to be very popular.

Also I think osu! FA could use more rock :) .

Official website - http://sakamt.web.fc2.com/

A.SAKA is an oriental-styled composer from Japan who's been popular in osu! for a while, notably because of 2 ranked maps of his Nanatsu Issenzakura, both with over 700k playcount (Hollow Wings' set having over 1m!), along with a few others with ~100k.

His songs allow for intricate patterning that can be used in all modes for mapping.

Some of them have also have been featured in other games like STELLIGHTS and Arcaea.

they've been producing for like 5 years with not much of a big following, deserves some more love

1.Hyper Potions
Hyper Potions is a two video game composers (Sonic Mania,Mario Oddysey,Rocket League etc) that have a unique combined chiptune with future bass which is really interesting to map/play. besides, Hyper Potions isn't a new face in osu! since the first mapset that is Hyper Potions - Porta Vista had been ranked on 2017.

"his music tells stories" - Amateurre, 2019 (c)

he makes different varieties of music ranging from classical, jazz, to dnb and sometimes even mix the styles into one song. osu could really need different more genres so it wont become too stale with the same music new featured artists provide.

Unlucky Morpheus is a Japanese power metal(?) group that does both Touhou and original compositions.

They have a couple popular maps, most notably Faith. In total they have 7 ranked maps.

I believe they are aware of osu!'s existance because they mentioned it on a YouTube stream when they saw some of us talking about it in chat, but I'm not sure what they were saying because I don't speak Japanese lol.

Ruby My Dear

osu! needs more breakcore, especially the hardcore and experimental one, and this is how Ruby My Dear's music is described. His music is very uncommon for someone who likes breakcore. It's melodic, lucid, artistic and very expressive. The album "Brame" was produced by Igorrr, the person he worked with on EP "Maigre", combining both their styles into a one big juicy album, which is always pleasing to listen to. "Brame" offers 12 tracks of different themes and sounds to map or just listen to. Ruby My Dear is overall a nice addition to current breakcore FA scene.

Scooter!

"Silly songs about Video Games, Cartoons and generally absurd stuff that can't hack it in a mainstream environment!"

He has a huge variety of styles and genres in his music and are usually related to weeb or nerdy stuff ranging from electro to some...kinda electro rock fusion to ballads etc. His unique blend of genres + variety within his music would allow for many fun opportunities for mappers to experiment with his cool stuff plus my mans has some bangers

Despite releasing music once in a while he still seems to be pretty active on his social media

I don't really know if it was because I was heard over here, or if getting Teminite onboard was already a plan, but either way I love all of you guys and you have made my day :D

I want to try my luck again by suggesting now another artist: Kero Kero Bonito

Would be a really cute addition to the featured artists roster with lots of variety in their catalogue. Everyone knows their flamingo song, and I think reception in the community would be positive. Not sure if it's feasible, they're biggish but not super ultra big so, who knows.

It would be my dream for Krewella to be a featured artist. They have made a huge selection of amazing songs for mapping, and with a new album being released will have even more. They host such a diverse range of songs (for example Ghost, Mana and Greenlights are all songs on their new album coming out soon that are just so unique and incredible to listen to). Furthermore, they have many songs which have a really strong nostalgia feel to them (such as Enjoy the ride, Alive and Say Goodbye). I feel like players and mappers alike will really be hyped and appreciate if this could happen. Not sure if it's that feasible considering how popular, but Teminite became a thing so maybe?

Interesting (mostly) anime-influenced breakcore stuff. Not sure if most of these songs are using samples from licensed sources (and thus may cause licensing issues, like goreshit's lolicore stuff I guess?) though, but assuming we're clear on that front, I think this artist can deliver quite the variety in breakcore content to the FA library.
Ariabl'eyeS
Website: http://ariableyes.com/
Twitter: https://twitter.com/Lyse_ariableyes

Japanese fast paced gothic rock/metal with various interesting rhythms that could be mapped and they are ed in the ranked section with multiple maps already. We don't really have any fa that goes quite in a direction like that, closest one being recently added Elfensjon but thats still a bit off.

He's done work for other rhythm games such as SDVX and there are even a few songs of his mapped in osu! already. His music is highly energetic and has difficult rhythms so I think that he would be a nice addition to the roster of featured artists.

Frank Klepacki 1r15k

Official Website | Spotify | Facebook | Twitter

The mastermind behind the exceptional soundtrack of Command & Conquer games. Although, there are very few beatmaps available in osu! (only 2 in ranked section: HM2) his unique style would certainly benefit the ever-growing beatmap library. Aside from C&C franchise, there is a huge list of games Klepacki played a key role as a composer. To be fair, most of his popular songs are relatively old, considering how irrelevant C&C games are in 2020. However, Klepacki still continues performing on stage (i.e. MAGFest 2019) and producing new soundtracks for various games.

Here are some of my favourites:
  1. Grinder - The iconic main menu song from C&C: Red Alert 2
  2. Machines Collide - A very funky song that reflects Klepacki's industrial style perfectly.
  3. Blow It Up - The name tells us all. An upbeat music full of explosions.

Also shout-outs to all C&C fans out there!
CROSS VEIN
Website: http://www.crossvein.net/
Twitter: https://twitter.com/CROSSVEIN_TW

Another similar heavily underrated gothic japanese metal artist with clean female vocals who could use a bit more recognition considering they have a fast variety of songs in general with 3/4 and 1/3 rhythm usage in some. They don't have that many albums but they are fairly active on social media and such and as far as I know they dont really have any rhythm game history.

Indonesian-based artist; mainly delves in the electronic genre, though I think their offerings are quite... fresh? compared to the current electronic artists in the FA library. Dunno how to explain it properly, but their tracks are kinda quirkier (Big Bang) & more "danceable" (Sweet Scar) (is this even a word), and at times even approaching the darker/heavier side of EDM in general (LUNATIC & i r u k a n d j i), with the occasional Indonesia influences, as heard in DPS, WKWK Land, and Lathi.

J-Rock, more specifically symphonic metal I suppose? They're somewhat in line with, say, ELFENSJoN, but their songs have a more "graceful" feel to it, compared to ELFENSJoN's rougher "folk"/"fantasy" vibes ( assuming whatever I said made sense).

A particular track that I liked:
Time to drop a bunch of more vocaloid suggestions!! (please more vocaloid in FA)

雄之助 / Yunosuke

I think Anamanaguchi would be an excellent addition, that band has composed songs for videogames like BIT.TRIP and even the soundtrack of Scott Pilgrim: The Videogame. Their chiptune would fit perfectly in osu!
Streetlight Manifesto/Toh Kay

Ska. osu! needs ska. I think the band fits on the featured artist listing because of how lacking the listing is of rock/punk stuff. In addition to that, it would be cool to see more tracks similar/in the lines of Thank You Scientist's track listing. In the case of Toh Kay, the listing also needs more of the "chill" vibe similar to Ricky Montgomery with the lyrics of Streetlight Manifesto (literally) with a hint of some originals from him.

Jonathan Coulton https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Coulton_discography

he made a lot of songs themed around science/math/ nerd culture in general and I think at least a good portion of them would work well in a rhythm game.
gmtn. (witch's slave)

SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/gmtn
YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4jJ9UMWpzUMIyTgRGIKvhA
Twitter: https://twitter.com/gumtune

It's so odd that no one has suggested witch's slave as a Featured Artist, considering some of their songs went on to be extremely popular within osu!, examples such as artefatto vita to name a few very brief examples.

Their hardstyle-sounding music style plus having been featured in other rhythm games like Arcaea make them a no-brainer choice to include in osu! too.

Halozy

Official Website: https://halozy.com/
YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/Ul56-fa1UNAdq25CIpo1Lg
Twitter: https://twitter.com/halozy_official

Another suggestion I'm actually relatively surprised wasn't suggested either. Halozy has been consistently relevant within the osu! community for over a decade, having some of the most famous maps in the game itself, a good example of which could be Hollow Wings' maps of Deconstruction Star among many other famous maps within the game. Halozy has left a sizeable footprint within osu! so it'd make sense to bring them aboard.

They have collaborated with many independent creators in the past too, examples being Nanahira & macaroom, to release plenty of iconic songs during their time.

Demetori

Official Website: http://demetori.xii.jp/

This one skipped my mind completely when I was writing but I might as well edit my post with a 3rd suggestion. Demetori has always been a classic artist for osu!, with songs being mapped as far back as 2009 with Ghostly Eyes by happy30. Demetori has remained relevant in osu! for well over 11 years at this point with new Ranked maps appearing as recent as April 2020.

Demetori has a reputation in osu!, for a lot of newer players they're seen as the "final boss" maps to test their mettle, and for top players - a way to challenge themselves. With metal guitar solos to rival the likes of DragonForce. Not to mention they've teamed up with nao under the alias DystopiaGround. Demetori seems like a total no-brainer for osu!
