BAH you don't need money to start a collection. Heck, most of the cars I have are given for my birthdays lol.

You can maybe try collecting your favorite illustrations/memes/games, Grow various kinds of plants (my grannys' hobby), Stamps, marbles, badges... Even if it's something minor, it's pretty nice to have a collection.
