We are a team dedicated to providing a different way to play osu!. As such, we have begun working on a new project akin to the main line of Pokémon games:

Ready your drums for the Taiko Gym Challenge!

In this challenge, you are required to battle it out with some of our very own leaders, who have curated tailor-made, themed mappools. They are masters of their craft and will face you in your effort to become the next champion. The rules are as follows:

1. In order to win against a leader, you must beat their scores on all of the selected maps.
2. There are two phases to challenging a gym: A qualification round and a trial round.
3. Qualification round: You qualify for a gym challenge by beating a leader's scores on both of the maps from the qualification pool. This can be done at any time after the qualification mappool has been released. You may spend as much time as you need to qualify for a gym.
4. Trial round: Once you have qualified for the challenge by beating both leader scores, you will be allowed to try for the accompanying badge. To win, you will have to beat a select number of leader scores in a multiplayer setting. This means your attempts will be tracked. If you cannot beat the leader's scores within a maximum of 2 attempts per map, you will have to retry the challenge once the next cycle of qualified challengers is accepted into the gym.

Should you, the challenger, beat one of our leaders, you will be awarded with a personalised page badge, and you will be well on your way to qualify for the champion tournament. More on that once we're ready!
